These are some notes on how this site was set up, like a "style sheet."
It is to be used in updating and adding new pages, and as such is not intended to be the most exciting part for visitors, but could possibly be useful for some individuals making their own pages.
Pages
All pages were created in Macromedia Dreamweaver, across multiple versions of the program.
Large Headers Are in Heading 2 with the Geneva, Arial, Helvetica Font-Family
Small Headers Are in Heading 3 with the Geneva, Arial, Helvetica Font-Family
Smallest Headers Are in Heading 4 with the Geneva, Arial, Helvetica Font-Family
Body text is default, otherwise intended to be Times New Roman.
Links are default.
Links to the current site open in the same window.
Links to files, and links to other sites open in a new window.
Style
Fonts were chosen this way because it is easier to read serif fonts (ones with little bars at the top and bottom, like Times New Roman), so body text should have serifs. Titles, being larger and more visible, can be sans-serif (like Arial).
Nested tables were avoided whenever possible so as to prevent problems with browsing, copying, etc.
Links generally terminate before punctuation marks because it is very easy to have links bleed over into nearby text when adding new content in Dreamweaver.
Links to files and other sites open in a new window to keep the user from accidentally closing the whole page when done.
All references are in APA style.
