Main Selections: What Are Personality's Parts?

Mental Models

Another category of personality parts include models of the self, including the self-concept, and one's life story. Here are several web sites that concern such mental models, and their related traits.

The Life Story -- This web site offers research background concerning a person's "life story," or the story a person constructs about him or herself.

Also among mental models are models of the world. One kind of world model is the archetype -- a personality type or pattern representing a universal specific meaning. One such type of world model is the mandala, a symetrical geometric pattern, that some theorists, notably Carl Jung, believed represented wholeness.

Mandalas 1 -- This web site displays some examples of mandalas and some quotes from Carl Jung about them.

Mandalas 2 -- But the best looking mandalas are here!
